Vatican Chapel is a project for Venice Biennale designed by Foster and partners studio and manufactured by Tecno Spa.
SolutionStudio collaborations made to engineering and develop all the wooden parts: structures, floors and furnitures too. After the design and engineering phases we have managed the supplier in coordination with Tecno Spa.
The main covers are solid wood slats designed with special fixing systems. These stainless steel components guarantee assembly flexibility and good weathering resistance.
Furnitures items such as the main altar and the solid wood seats have been obtained from a feasibility study through 3D design according to a 5-axis CNC production.
